Whether you're promoting your business, growing a personal brand, or want to start a faceless YouTube channel, I'll show you how to do this as a complete beginner with no advanced techie skills. 💯
In fact, I've already built all the templates you need, and I'll be giving them to you for free! All you need to do is personalize a few things, and you'll be good to go.
Read this before importing: The video demonstrates an earlier version of this workflow. Account connections, AI models, and image-generation services change. Use the blueprint as a starting point, test each module, and preview a complete render before switching on automatic publishing.
The Content Automation Workflow Explained 🔄
To build all of this, we're going to be using Make.com, a visual automation builder that makes connecting different apps as easy as putting together Legos.
Here's how our workflow functions:
Content Source → Takes information from news articles, blog posts, social media posts, or even your own blog
AI Processing → Transforms that information into a complete video script with images, voiceover, and subtitles
Video Creation → Builds the actual video based on the script
Publishing → Posts to your social media platforms with proper captions and hashtags

Step 1: Setting Up Your Foundation 🛠️
Setting Up Make.com
First, you'll need a free Make account:

Click "New Scenario"
Click the three dots, then "Import Blueprint"

Once you import the blueprint, my entire build shows up for you! This is doing literally 85% of the work for you. It's already almost completely done!
Setting Up Your Content Source with RSS
This will be the source of content for your niche:
Sign up for RSS.app using the link in the Resources section
Go to "New Feed"
You have multiple options:
Enter a URL for any website (including your own blog)
Select from pre-existing topics (fitness, cooking, healthcare, etc.)
Enter keywords (e.g., "AI tools")
Save your feed and copy the XML URL
Go back to Make, click on the RSS module, and paste your URL
Test your setup by running the first module. If you see results, you're on the right track! ✅
Step 2: Processing Content with AI 🧠
Setting Up Perplexity AI
This blueprint uses Perplexity for research and summarization. Check its output against the source article before turning it into a video:
Create a free Perplexity account
Go to Settings → API → Generate API Key
Set an API budget and monitor usage; cost depends on the model and number of runs
In Make, add a new connection, name it, and add your API key
The prompt I've created will take the article and summarize it for social media. You'll need to modify this prompt to match your content niche, but everything else is already set up for you!
Creating Video Scripts with ChatGPT
For this step, you'll need to connect ChatGPT's API:
Go to platform.openai.com and create an account
Copy your Organization ID and create a new API key
Add these to Make.com
Don't worry about the JSON formatting or any of the technical details, I've done all of this for you! The system is configured to create videos between 30-60 seconds, which is ideal for most social platforms.
Step 3: Creating the Videos 🎬

This amazing tool will create your videos:
Sign up for JSON2Video (you get 600 free credits) using the link in the Resources section
Go to API Keys → Add a new API key
Copy your API key and add it as a connection in Make

Want to change the voice? It's super easy:

Listen to samples to find the perfect voice for your brand
Simply change the name in the Make module (e.g., from "Alice" to "Daniel")
Step 4: Publishing Your Content 📱

Add a new connection for Instagram in Make
Log in with your Facebook account (takes just a few seconds)
Select the page you want to publish to
All the mappings for video URL and captions are already done for you in my blueprint!
Current JSON2Video limitation: JSON2Video composes and renders videos, but its current service does not natively generate AI images. If the old template depends on built-in image generation, you need to supply your own images or add a supported image-generation step and map accessible image URLs into the template. Test this part before using the publishing modules.
JSON2Video currently provides 600 trial credits with watermarked output. Ongoing renders and premium voices can incur costs. OpenAI and Perplexity API billing is separate from their chat subscriptions. See current JSON2Video pricing and capabilities.
Taking It Further: Multi-Platform Publishing 🌐
Now let's get your content on ALL platforms using Repurpose.io:
Sign up for Repurpose using the link in the Resources section (partner offer: 30-day trial; check the current video allowance on the signup page)
Connect all your social media accounts (so easy—just click and log in)
Create workflows from Instagram to other platforms:
Instagram Reels → Instagram Stories
Instagram → YouTube Shorts
Instagram → TikTok
Instagram → X (Twitter)
Instagram → LinkedIn
Connect the supported accounts you want to use, then test one video through each workflow. Start from your clean original export; a rendering-service watermark is not the same as a platform watermark.
Why use Repurpose instead of building everything in Make? Because it's WAY easier, especially for platforms like TikTok that don't have stable direct integrations. Check each destination’s settings and preview, including the format, caption, and supported account type.
Setting Your Schedule ⚙️
Finally, set your posting schedule:
In Make, set your desired frequency (daily, every 8 hours, etc.)
Choose your ideal posting time
Save and activate your scenario
That's it! Your fully automated video social media machine is now ready to work while you focus on other aspects of your business.
Keep the schedule off until you have confirmed the source facts, media URLs, finished video, and correct destination account. Check for previously processed RSS items so a retry does not publish duplicate posts.
Real-World Example: See It in Action! 🎥
When I tested this system, it created a video about Delta Airlines with AI-generated images, professional voiceover, and captions. The entire process happened automatically, from finding the content to publishing the finished video on Instagram.
The system waited for the video to render, wrote a compelling caption with hashtags, and posted everything without any manual intervention!
That example documents the video’s original demonstration. It is not a fresh end-to-end test of every third-party service today; the image-generation dependency above is the main part to check when rebuilding it.
