The Content Automation Workflow Explained 🔄
To build all of this, we're going to be using Make.com, a visual automation builder that makes connecting different apps as easy as putting together Legos.
Here's how our workflow functions:
Content Source → Takes information from news articles, blog posts, social media posts, or even your own blog
AI Processing → Transforms that information into a complete video script with images, voiceover, and subtitles
Video Creation → Builds the actual video based on the script
Publishing → Posts to your social media platforms with proper captions and hashtags

Step 1: Setting Up Your Foundation 🛠️
Setting Up Make.com
First, you'll need a free Make account:

Click "New Scenario"
Click the three dots, then "Import Blueprint"
Download my free blueprint from the Resources section at the end of this post and import it
Once you import the blueprint, my entire build shows up for you! This is doing literally 85% of the work for you. It's already almost completely done!
Setting Up Your Content Source with RSS
This will be the source of content for your niche:
Sign up for RSS.app using the link in the Resources section
Go to "New Feed"
You have multiple options:
Enter a URL for any website (including your own blog)
Select from pre-existing topics (fitness, cooking, healthcare, etc.)
Enter keywords (e.g., "AI tools")
Save your feed and copy the XML URL
Go back to Make, click on the RSS module, and paste your URL
Test your setup by running the first module. If you see results, you're on the right track! ✅
Step 2: Processing Content with AI 🧠
Setting Up Perplexity AI
Next, we'll use Perplexity AI, which is better than ChatGPT for research as it can browse websites:
Create a free Perplexity account
Go to Settings → API → Generate API Key
Buy about $5 worth of credits (this will last you a very long time)
In Make, add a new connection, name it, and add your API key
The prompt I've created will take the article and summarize it for social media. You'll need to modify this prompt to match your content niche, but everything else is already set up for you!
Creating Video Scripts with ChatGPT
For this step, you'll need to connect ChatGPT's API:
Go to platform.openai.com and create an account
Copy your Organization ID and create a new API key
Add these to Make.com
Don't worry about the JSON formatting or any of the technical details, I've done all of this for you! The system is configured to create videos between 30-60 seconds, which is ideal for most social platforms.
Step 3: Creating the Videos 🎬
Setting Up JSON2Video
This amazing tool will create your videos:
Sign up for JSON2Video (you get 600 free credits) using the link in the Resources section
Go to API Keys → Add a new API key
Copy your API key and add it as a connection in Make

Add a new connection for Instagram in Make
Log in with your Facebook account (takes just a few seconds)
Select the page you want to publish to

Taking It Further: Multi-Platform Publishing 🌐
Now let's get your content on ALL platforms using Repurpose.io:

Create workflows from Instagram to other platforms:
