WebinarJam vs EverWebinar: Which Should You Choose?
WebinarJam is for presenting live; EverWebinar is for delivering a recorded webinar automatically. Choose based on whether you need to respond to your audience during the presentation or make the same session available without presenting it each time.
My recommendation is to start live when you are still refining your presentation, then automate a recording once it works for your audience. You can use either product on its own, or combine them at different stages of your sales funnel.

WebinarJam vs EverWebinar: the main differences
WebinarJam lets you present, answer questions, and adjust the session as it happens. It suits live demonstrations, workshops, and sales presentations where the conversation matters.
EverWebinar runs a prerecorded presentation on a schedule, just in time, or on demand. You can join the chat while the recording plays, but the presentation itself stays recorded.
A useful distinction: a replay gives someone a recording to watch. An automated webinar adds registration, scheduling, reminders, and timed interactions around that recording.
When I would choose WebinarJam
I would choose WebinarJam when a personal conversation is part of the sale. For a high-ticket offer, being able to answer a specific objection or change the demonstration for the people in the room can matter more than running the session repeatedly.
The features I cover in the video include live and private chat, questions, moderator controls, multiple presenters, and attendee spotlight. You can bring an audience member into the presentation instead of keeping every interaction in a chat box.
I also like automatic recording. I have been in situations with other tools where you have to press Record and forget. Capturing the session gives you a replay and material you can reuse later. The practical trade-off is that you still need to show up and present.
When I would choose EverWebinar
EverWebinar makes sense when you already have a presentation you want to deliver repeatedly. If your calendar only allows a couple of live sessions, potential viewers in other time zones may never get a convenient opportunity to attend.
In my demonstration, a visitor could join a session starting in about 13 minutes. That just-in-time scheduling is the feature I find especially useful: someone who is interested now can attend soon, instead of waiting several days.
You can also offer recurring sessions and blackout times. The presentation runs automatically, while a moderator can answer real questions in chat. That saves presentation time, but it does not mean every question gets answered if nobody is monitoring the session.
Which is better for your business?
Choose WebinarJam for a new offer, a workshop that depends on feedback, or a smaller group with detailed questions. You can react to what people say and learn which parts of your pitch need work.
Choose EverWebinar for a repeatable educational webinar or product presentation that already answers your audience’s main questions. The benefit is reaching more people without giving the same presentation every time.
If you do not yet know whether your webinar converts, I would test the presentation before building a large automated funnel around it. Automation repeats the presentation you give it; improving the offer and message still matters.
Using WebinarJam and EverWebinar together
One approach I suggest in the video is an automated educational webinar near the start of your funnel, followed by a live session for more qualified prospects. For example, a broad “10 ways to…” presentation can introduce the topic, while a live demonstration answers questions from people closer to buying.

Only if you need both workflows. Live interaction and automated delivery solve different problems. Check what your chosen subscription includes before adding another one.
Can I answer questions during an automated webinar?
Yes. EverWebinar’s hybrid approach lets your recording play while you or a moderator answer questions in live chat. You are still staffing the chat, even though you are not giving the presentation again.
Can I use EverWebinar without WebinarJam?
Yes. You can use a suitable prerecorded presentation from another source. WebinarJam is convenient for recording and transferring live sessions, but it is not required.
