EverWebinar Review and Tutorial: Set Up Automated Webinars

This Everwebinar review and tutorial shows you how to create scalable automated webinars.

EverWebinar lets you schedule a recorded presentation so people can watch without you presenting it live every time. In this review and tutorial, I show how to add your video, build the registration flow, choose a schedule, and prepare the interactions that appear during the session.

It makes the most sense when you already have a useful presentation that you want to deliver repeatedly. It saves presentation time, but you still need to create the content, bring in an audience, and support people who have questions.

My EverWebinar review: the main benefit and tradeoff

The benefit is scheduling flexibility. A prospect in another time zone can watch without waiting for your next live event, and you do not have to repeat the same presentation every week. You can also make the session available shortly after someone registers.

The tradeoff is that a recording cannot respond to a new question the way a live presenter can. If questions are central to your workshop, run it live or arrange live chat support around the recording. My WebinarJam vs EverWebinar comparison explains the difference.

1. Add the recording

Create a webinar and select the source video. In my demonstration, I use a YouTube recording and enter its exact duration: 10 minutes and 36 seconds. The setup also shows supported hosted-video options and importing a WebinarJam session.

Check that the source video is accessible and plays all the way through. Match the duration accurately so scheduled interactions and the end of the session line up. Give the webinar an internal name, then add the public title, description, thumbnail, language, and presenter details.

2. Choose how people will attend

A scheduled session gives attendees a specific time to join. Recurring sessions repeat that schedule. Visitor-local-time scheduling helps when your audience spans different time zones.

Just-in-time sessions offer a start time shortly after registration. In the video, I demonstrate a 15-minute interval. On-demand viewing is different: someone can start immediately. Choose the option that fits your presentation and how you intend to support attendees.

Review blackout hours and unavailable dates if you do not want sessions offered at certain times. Also check late-attendee settings: joining a session already in progress can mean missing the introduction.

3. Build the registration page

Choose a template and explain what someone will learn, who the session is for, and how long it takes. Keep the form simple. The setup shown in the tutorial includes registration-page A/B testing and custom fields.

If you use your own landing page, test the connection from that page through to the webinar room. For Kartra users, my Kartra and EverWebinar integration guide covers connecting registration and follow-up.

4. Set confirmation and reminder emails

After registration, attendees need the correct date, time, and joining link. Set the confirmation and reminder messages before sending traffic. A person who registers but cannot find the link is a preventable lost attendee.

You can also plan messages after the session. Someone who missed it may need another viewing opportunity. Someone who stayed until the end may need the offer details or an answer to a final question. If another email platform handles this, avoid sending overlapping messages from both systems.

5. Schedule useful interactions

The tutorial walks through timed polls, offers, handouts, and a sticky call to action. Set these to appear at the moment they are relevant in the recording. A worksheet near an exercise is more useful than a download shown at a random point.

Keep the experience clear for attendees: it is a recorded presentation, with live chat only when someone is actually available. You do not need to imply that recorded comments, attendance numbers, or purchases are happening live to make a useful session engaging.

6. Decide how questions will be handled

EverWebinar can support a recorded presentation with a person answering chat. That is helpful when you want consistent teaching but still want to address individual questions. Make sure someone can actually cover the scheduled sessions if you promise live support.

If the session is fully automated, explain how people can contact you afterward. A clear response path is better than leaving attendees waiting in a chat that nobody is monitoring.

7. Test the entire attendee journey

Register with a test email address and follow the same route as a new visitor. Check the confirmation, reminder timing, time zone, room access, video playback, scheduled poll, handout, and offer destination.

Watch the full session at least once. Confirm that the offer appears at the right point and that follow-up messages arrive as intended. A working video alone does not mean the complete webinar funnel is ready.

8. Use the reports to improve the session

Review how many people register, attend, and stay through the presentation. In the video, I explain why someone who leaves after five minutes may need a different follow-up from someone who watches to the end.

The demonstration account is not a case study of sales results. Use your own attendance and conversion data to decide what to change: the registration page, opening section, offer timing, or follow-up.

EverWebinar pricing and discount

Standalone EverWebinar currently costs $199 monthly, $1,188 annually, or $1,896 every two years. The longer plans reduce the monthly equivalent but require a larger payment upfront. WebinarJam Basic, Professional, and Enterprise currently advertise EverWebinar included, so compare the bundle if you also need live webinars.

The public trial offer is $1 for 14 days. Older videos and partner links may mention a 30-day promotion; the trial duration and renewal terms displayed at checkout are what you should use. A money-back guarantee is a separate policy.

Check the current EverWebinar offer and enter SOLO40 for 40% off your first payment across billing options. The discount is not a lifetime renewal discount.

Would I use EverWebinar for this?

Yes, for a presentation that can help people without being delivered live every time. Start with one recording and one clear next step. Get the registration, viewing, and follow-up process working before adding more schedules or complicated automation.
